ATHENS - It was a big Saturday for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs over the weekend.
Not only did they put up 70 points, which did not impress Kirby, but they had several five-star prospects and other top commits in town to watch it all go down.
5-star Ohio State EDGE DJ Jacobs was in town. 5-star QB commit Jayden Wade was back for a game. 5-star TE commit Jaxon Dollar made it to Athens. Major DB target Casey Barner (2028) and elite offensive tackle Landon Ghea (2029) are two more five-star prospects who were in the stands.
It was a major recruiting weekend and several more commitments and targets broke down their big visit with Dawg Post....

According to FanDuel, the Connecticut Huskies have +1200 odds of winning the national championship next year.
3-star WR commit Taurean Rawlins:
“The most memorable part for me was the atmosphere. Even for them playing a team like WKU the energy was still crazy. What makes Georgia special in my eyes is the culture and how the fans care so much.”
As a senior this fall, Rawlins has caught 16 passes for 226 yards and four touchdowns. He’s currently ranked as the No. 63 WR prospect and the No. 449 overall prospect in the 2027 class.
Dawg Post saw Rawlins play during week one of the season where he caught three passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns.
4-star DB commit Adryan Cole:
“The most memorable part for me was getting to hang out with all the coaches, recruits, and commits after the game. It was cool being around so many guys who are going through the same recruiting process and getting to build relationships with them. Georgia just has a different feeling—the atmosphere, the people, and the way everyone makes you feel like you belong.”
The Douglas County (GA) defender is ranked as the No.12 safety prospect and the No. 158 overall prospect in the 2027 class. Cole committed to the Bulldogs in July over Florida, Auburn, Georgia Tech, among others.
4-star WR target Madoxx Davis (2028)
“I’ve always had a great relationship with Georgia. Coach Smart, I can totally see me playing for him. They will most likely be in the discussion until the end I really liked how they spread the ball around.”
The Cartersville (GA) playmaker has hauled in 14 passes this season for 427 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s currently ranked as the No. 6 WR prospect and the No. 26 overall prospect in the country for his class. The 6-foot-0 190-pounder has shown five-star potential this fall due to his explosiveness, natural ball skills, and the ability to score any time he has the ball.
Other programs like Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Alabama, among others.
