UGA Football Commits Dominate To Start 2026 Season

ATHENS - There’s only one sport that can come anywhere close to college football.

And it’s high school football.

While Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are about a week away from their season-opening game against Tennessee State, there are several Bulldog commitments who are off to terrific starts to their senior season.

Let’s start with five-star tight end Jaxon Dollar‍. The nation’s No. 1 tight end prospect has dominated to start his senior season making play after play on both sides of the ball. The dynamic, playmaking Bulldog commitment has caught 12 passes through his first two games for 216 yards and one touchdown. The 6-foot-4 230-pounder has also been a major weapon on defense, making two sacks and returning an INT back for a touchdown last week.

According to FanDuel, the Atlanta Falcons have +240 odds to reach the NFL Playoffs this fall.

Five-star running back commit Kemon Spell‍ also proved why he’s the best across the country in the 2027 class. While he didn’t have many carries, sources tell Dawg Post that Spell scored three touchdowns in limited action, including an eye-opening 20-yard touchdown run.

Five-star QB commit Jayden Wade‍ put on a show against Cornerstone Christian, throwing for four touchdowns and running for another all in the first half. The dynamic 6-foot-4 195-pounder is ranked as the No. 1 QB prospect and the No. 5 overall prospect in the country for the 2028 class.

Three-star wide receiver Taurean Rawlins is also off to a fantastic start to his final season for Mount Vernon. The speedy 5-foot-11 170-pounder scored two touchdowns in week one and caught another in a big week two win over Whitefield Academy. Rawlins has shows the ability to stretch the field vertically while being a major weapon in the screen game. He’s also made plays on defense and could see a big rise in the rankings if he continues his stellar play.

Miller Westerfield is an offensive lineman that Dawg Post got eyes on over the weekend. Westerfield’s Roswell squad got crushed at home to Newton, but the three-star offensive tackle commitment was outstanding. The 6-foot-4 285-pounder moves well for his size, shows good footwork, and consistently won his battles throughout the ballgame. He played with a nasty mean streak that Georgia fans will love when he gets to Athens. He’s ranked as the No. 35 offensive tackle prospect in the 2027 class and really impressed over the weekend in a losing effort.

Another offensive linemen off to a strong season is four-star Kennedee Jackson‍. The giant left tackle at Lithonia (GA) completely dominated over the weekend, serving up 10 pancakes while controlling his side of the line of scrimmage.
