ATHENS - It’s clear James Coley and his group is under some serious pressure in 2026.
The Bulldogs return starting quarterback Gunner Stockton, a stable of capable backs, an elite tight room, and several starters on the offense line. There’s a lot to like about this Georgia Bulldog offense as it relates to experience and overall talent.
Then there’s the wide receivers.
The Dawgs will be replacing each of their three leading wideouts from last season including Zachariah Branch, Colbie Young and Dillon Bell. They’re also without Noah Thomas who scored touchdowns against Texas, Florida and Mississippi State. Replacing them won’t be easy, but there are several up-and-coming receivers who are hoping to land starting roles this fall.
Georgia’s leading returning receiver is London Humphreys, a senior who caught 18 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns last season. He’s a veteran with above-average speed, dependable hands, and the ability to make clutch plays down the field. It was Humphreys who broke Tennessee’s heart with a late 4th quarter touchdown during Georgia’s 44-41 win last year in Knoxville.

According to FanDuel, Kansas star Tyran Stokes has +1000 odds to win the John Wooden Award next season.
Assistant James Coley also has a new weapon in Isaiah Cannon, a 6-foot-4 205-pound transfer from Georgia Tech who caught 33 passes for 280 yards and four touchdowns last season for the Yellow Jackets.
“He's a good football player”, Smart said about Canion this spring. “He's an even better person, and he played with several guys on our team, so there's a relationship there.”
Third-year wideout Sacovie White will also be expected to make plays this fall. He’s a shifty, sure-handed receiver from North Georgia who can line up in the slot and create yards after the catch. The 5-foot-9 180-pounder is also an option on special teams and in the return game. He’s a player many expect to take a significant step forward in production this upcoming season.
Sophomore Talyn Taylor is another promising receiver with sky-high expectations in 2026. A former five-star prospect, Taylor will have an opportunity to earn a starting role due to his ability to get open and stretch the field. He’s naturally gifted and will surely be in the race for a starting role if he continues to develop properly in fall camp. Everyone remembers his dropped touchdown against Alabama, but this is a very talented wideout who should make a major impact in the passing game this fall.
Sophomore receivers CJ Wiley, Thomas Blackshear, and Landon Roldan are also hoping to earn some playing time this fall as they continue to grow and develop.
The Bulldogs signed three freshman receivers including Dallas Dickerson, Ryan Mosely, and Craig Dandridge. Sources are already raving about Dandridge and believe he’s established early chemistry already with Stockton. If there’s one freshman who could step in and make plays, it might be Dandridge.
