ATHENS - The Georgia Bulldogs have hit the road. That means in-person visits and new offers are flying out to top prospects all across the country.
While Mike Bobo and his staff are still looking to land their quarterback in the 2027 class, they did extend an offer this week to one of the nation’s best in the 2028 class. They still hold a commitment from 5-star Jayden Wade, but after stopping by Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama this week, the staff extended an offer to elite passer, Kingston Preyear.
Ranked as the No. 5 QB prospect in the country for the 2028 class, Preyear stands at 6-foot-2 190-pounds and is fresh off a dominant sophomore season where he threw for 3,127 passing yards and 31 touchdowns. He shows outstanding arm talent and has a natural feel for the position, staying calm in the pocket and delivering an accurate ball down the field. The dual-threat quarterback also took off for 564 yards on the ground.
Preyear has seen his recruitment take off recently with Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, and Notre Dame all extending offers this spring.
Preyear is currently ranked as the No. 3 prospect in Alabama and the No. 63 overall prospect in the 2028 class.

According to FanDuel, the Atlanta Braves have +1100 odds to win the 2026 World Series this fall.
Another offer that went out this week went to in-state pass-rusher, Olayiwola Oreofeoluwa Taiwo. One of the state’s hottest prospects at the moment, Taiwo is an impressive defender at Lovejoy (GA) who recently earned offers from Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Vanderbilt, Minnesota, among others this spring.
The long, athletic pass-rusher brings an impressive 6-foot-3 225-pound frame and has been an easy offer for coaches who have seen him this spring. Once a top “sleeper” prospect, Taiwo shows natural burst off the snap and impressive closing speed that allows him to corral the ball-carrier quickly in the backfield. He can make the “drive-killing” plays that great defenses need, and his best football is still way, way ahead of him.
Don’t be surprised if more offers head his way this week and into the summer. He brings big-play ability on defense and is someone Georgia fans need to keep a close eye on moving forward if he climbs Georgia’s board over time.
