ATHENS - After signing two out-of-state linebackers in the 2026 class, Georgia Bulldog assistant Glenn Schumann has put himself in a favorable position right now for another in the current 2027 cycle.

As we’ve written about previously, four-star linebacker Noah Glover‍ is someone Georgia fans need to keep a close eye on. The 6-foot-2 205-pounder from Virginia is high on Schumman’s board and took a big Jr. Day visit to Athens in late January.

“Coach Smart and his staff are special because they coach hard and bring out your best”, Glover told Dawg Post. “UGA is special in my eyes because, man, everything. They’ve got it all.”

Now, Glover has locked in his official visit. The No. 2-ranked prospect in Virginia at Battlefield (VA) will be in Athens for his big visit the weekend of June 5th.

In nine games last season Glover made 73 Tackles, five sacks, two pass-breakups, two rushing touchdowns, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Glover is ranked as the No. 12 LB prospect and the No. 168 overall prospect in the country for the 2027 class.

Another out-of-state prospect who has set his Georgia official visit is three-star offensive tackle, Ty Johnson‍. A UGA legacy from South Carolina, Johnson is a mauler in the run game at right tackle with an impressive 6-foot-6 300-pound frame. The small-town lineman from Mount Pleasant is a mobile, athletic tackle on the rise who will be in Athens for his big visit the weekend of June 12th.
