UGA Football OL Nyier Daniels Arrested, Charged with Multiple Felony Counts

ATHENS - Nyier Daniels, a reserve UGA football offensive lineman, was arrested Sunday morning on a slew of charges in Jackson County.
A redshirt freshman, Daniels was charged with felony counts of fleeing or attempting to elide an officer and two counts of 2nd-degree child cruelty. The Athens Banner-Herald reported that Daniels was charged with ten misdemeanors that included speeding, reckless driving and failing to stop for a stop sign and yield sign violation as well as no-passing zone violations.
Daniels played Saturday during the Bulldogs’ 35-3 win over Charlotte in Athens. The No. 4 Bulldogs will face No. 23 Georgia Tech in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Friday.
