ATHENS - Georgia Bulldog offensive coordinator Mike Bobo does it again.

After landing the No. 1 QB prospect in the 2026 class in five-star Jared Curtis‍, Bobo went out and landed a commitment today from another elite quarterback prospect.

Five-star Jayden Wade‍.

The No. 1 overall prospect in the 2028 class, Wade may be young, but he’s extremely talented with a promising 6-foot-4 185-pound frame. He’s been a major Bulldog target all year long and has taken several trips to Athens since April.

Wade plays at IMG Academy (FL) and chose the Bulldogs today over Texas, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, and Oregon after several visits to Athens this year.

The 5-star was in the Classic City in mid-April and was back in town again for another big visit on June 21st. Wade made sure to get back to Athens for the Alabama game and was back in town this weekend to watch the Dawgs take down Texas.

Now, Wade has publicly committed to play for the Georgia Bulldogs.

As a prospect, Wade’s size, natural arm talent, and high ceiling is easy to see. He already has the physical tools to play at a high level and flicks the ball effortlessly down the field. He shows plenty of arm strength, consistent footwork in the pocket, and already feels comfortable in the RPO style of offense.

Just a sophomore, Wade has been really impressive for the mighty IMG Academy Ascenders this fall, playing against quality competition on a weekly basis. He shows early leadership qualities, he’s an efficient runner, and his best football is still way, way ahead of him.

With Curtis coming in next year and Wade on board for the 2028 class, it’s safe to say the Dawgs will have an extremely talented quarterback on the roster for the foreseeable future.

Through his first nine games, Wade has thrown for 1,376 yards and 20 touchdowns. He’s also rushed for 254 yards and three more scores on the ground. His best game came against Central (AL) where he was 11/11 passing for 350 yards and four touchdown passes.

Wade becomes Georgia’s second verbal commitment in the 2028 class joining four-star tight end Asa Wall‍.
