The Las Vegas Raiders don’t deserve Brock Bowers. That seems clear midway through the NFL regular season.
The Raiders are a complete failure of an organization, and superstar Brock Bowers is unfortunately dealing with their incompetence.
Even as he plays for one of the worst teams in the league, Bowers is showing week after week why he’s one of the best young players in the game. Bowers is having an incredible rookie season and just had his biggest NFL game of the year on Sunday when he caught an eye-opening 13 passes for 126 yards and one touchdown during the Raider’s 34-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
If you watch the NFL at all, even a little, you know that’s not something rookie pass-catchers normally do. It’s not something you see every Sunday.

According to FanDuel, Bowers and the Raiders are 4.5-point underdogs to the Denver Broncos next weekend.
Brock Bowers was a legitimate alien during his time in Athens. He was a football robot. An all-time freak of an athlete.
Now, the two-time John Mackey Award winner is making the same impact on the game’s highest stage. He’s doing things tight ends have never done before, and another example came this weekend.
According to the Raiders, Bowers became just the second tight end in NFL history to record multiple games of 10+ receptions in his rookie season, joining Jeremy Shockey (2) in 2002.
The two-time national champion is widely recognized as the greatest college football tight end of all-time after everything he accomplished in Athens. As a rookie this season, Bowers has caught 70 passes for 706 yards and three touchdowns for the struggling Raiders.
