Georgia offers 2019 QB Taulia Tagovailoa
The college football world knows all about current Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and has seen what he's done since taking over for the Tide at halftime of last year's national championship.
The former 5-star is a Heisman favorite right now, but his younger brother has made a name for himself too in the recruiting world. 4-star Taulia Tagovailoa has been a star for Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama this year, and he, like his older brother, will play for the Crimson Tide next year.
But that didn't stop the Georgia Bulldogs from jumping on board. The Georgia staff offered the 5-foot-11 203-pounder on October 24th but it doesn't appear he will be decommitting from the Tide anytime soon.
The big question is will Georgia try to take another QB in this class? Will current QB commit john Rhys Plumlee remain in this class come December?
Only time will tell, but these new offers indicate the Georgia staff is still looking to add another quarterback. It's not an overly strong class, especially compared to guys in the 2020 class, but there's no doubt that depth is needed at the position.
It's highly unlikely they'll get into the mix with the younger Tagovailoa, but it will be very interesting to see where Georgia goes at QB the rest of the way.
