UGA Football TE Brock Bowers Gets National Award for Performance vs. Auburn

ATHENS - UGA Football TE Brock Bowers earned the John Mackey Award Tight End of the Week following his performance at Auburn, according to an announcement Wednesday.

Bowers won the 2022 Mackey Award and this marks the third year in a row that he has garnered a weekly honor from the award.
 
Bowers, a native of Napa, Calif., posted the ninth 100-yard receiving game of his career during his performance against the Tigers last weekend.  He had a game-high eight receptions for a career-high 157 yards and a touchdown.

The No. 1 Bulldogs (5-0, 2-0 SEC) play host to No. 20 Kentucky (5-0, 2-0) on Dooley Field in Sanford Stadium on Saturday.  ESPN will televise the matchup at 7:05 p.m.  SEC Nation will also be on campus Friday and Saturday.
