ATHENS - UGA football has lost five first-round picks from the defensive line in the last two NFL drafts. This past draft saw both Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith hear their name called on the first night of the annual professional football ritual. 

That leaves another large hole to fill on what has been college football’s best defense.
