Puglisi committed to Kirby and the Dawgs in October. He visited Athens last weekend for his official visit. The Old Farms (CT) signal caller told Dawg Post’s Matt DeBary that he had an amazing visit to Georgia.
“I loved my visit”, Puglisi told DeBary. “It was amazing and I can’t wait to get back here again at the end of July. We spent a lot of time recruiting other players and I spent good quality time with Coach Bobo, Coach Smart and their families.”
DeBary reports that Raiola’s commitment earlier this summer doesn’t change Puglisi’s plans for playing in Silver Britches. Raiola picked the Bulldogs, as expected, on May 15.
“Coach Smart bleeds red and black, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come,” Raiola told Dawg Post.
“Everyone says the hype is real. He makes throwing the football look effortless. He’s a natural at the position, he’s mobile in the pocket, and can put the ball where it needs to be from anywhere on the field. He can throw off balance, from different arm angles, and still throw the ball accurately,” DeBary said of the five-star.
Elite 11, which has been run by Student Sports for decades, brings “together top performers to receive advanced, one-on-one quarterback instruction in a highly competitive setting. The 2023 Elite 11 Finals will span three days and include on-field drills, routes-on-air, classroom instruction and off-field development. The Elite 11 will be named at the conclusion of The Elite 11 Finals.”
Georgia’s quarterback last year, NCAA legend Stetson Bennett, has the Los Angeles Rams at +1,000 odds to win the NFC West next season according to FanDuel.
