ATHENS - Kirby Smart, Stacy Searles and the Georgia Bulldogs add another 2024 commitment early Tuesday morning in three-star offensive tackle, Marcus Harrison.
An under the radar offensive lineman out of St. Francis (NY), Harrison who chose the Bulldogs over Syracuse, Boston College, among others after an unofficial visit to Athens this past weekend.
With an opportunity to play for the back-to-back national champions, Harrison didn’t have to think long about jumping on board and committing to the No. 1 college football program in the country.

What will Harrison bring to Athens?
Size and potential.
He may not have four or five starts to his name, but Dawg Post can confidently say he was higher on Searels’ board than most realize. He has a massive 6-foot-8 335-pound frame who can swallow up defenders with ease.
His size and overall strength allows him to dominate in his New York region, and he’ll have plenty of time to sit, develop, and grow into an SEC-caliber player when he gets to Athens. He plays with a mean streak and knows how to completely eliminate opposing defenders from the play. He fires off the ball quickly, has big hands, and plays with violence. He can help open up running lanes on the left side and appears to be a promising pass protector as well.
The upside and potential is there, but he still has plenty to improve upon. He’ll be a project, but a fun one to work on for Searels and the offensive staff. While he’s still a work in progress from a technical and fundamental standpoint, it’s easy to see the raw size and strength he brings to the table. He won’t be asked to play early, which is a good thing, so there’s still plenty of time for him to progress before he sees the field in Athens.
Searels already has one offensive line on the commit list in three-star Malachi Toliver.
Other offensive line targets to keep an eye on include four-star Daniel Calhoun, five-star Brandon Baker, four-star Marques Easley, four-star Fletcher Westphal, four-star Nyier Daniels, among others.
