ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs had the first scrimmage of the spring on Satuday in Sanford Stadium.
The program released select video highlights from the scrimmage, which was closed to media and the public. The highlights show Brock Vandagriff in a black non-contact jersey completing a pass to Marcus Rosmey-Jacksaint.
Another throw is show being intercepted by a UGA defender, but it is unclear who threw the pass. Kirby has said publicly that both Vandagriff and 2022 backup Carson Beck are rotating with the No. 1 offensive unit.
“I don’t think the dynamics have changed. Brock and Carson are both getting reps with the ones. Gunner got some reps with the twos, predominately the threes,” Kirby said Saturday afternoon. "I think we’ll evaluate this scrimmage and come back in Monday and be able to say what they did well or poorly with no coach on the field. It’s still a tough evaluation because there are probably 10 plays out there during the scrimmage where I have to say a guy got sacked. Did he get sacked, or did he not get sacked because we didn’t tackle him?”

The Bulldogs are limited by injuries at running back, but the highlights showed sophomore Brandon Robinson taking off on a run.
“Obviously, Kendall Milton's injury, he's out but Branson Robinson did a good job. I think we ended up getting about 10 carries for Branson and about 10 carries for Roderick Robinson, which is a lot for us in a scrimmage,” Kirby said.

The highlights also spotlighted Stockton running with the ball in his right hand after faking a handoff in the backfield. Footage also showed Dillon Bell making a very nice catch with Kamari Lassiter draped on him down the sideline.
The Bulldogs are set to scrimmage again next Saturday before the final scrimmage of the season - G Day at 4 PM on Saturday, April 15 in Athens.
