ATHENS - Mike White’s Georgia Bulldogs will remember Devin Willock and Chandler LeCroy tonight against the Kentucky Wildcats, and likely the remainder of the season.
White and guard Jabri Abdur-Rahim talked with the team during a shoot around Tuesday afternoon at Rupp Arena.
“Jabri had an idea,” White told the team.
“Me and Coach White came up with an idea to put a patch on the jersey to memorialize (Willock and LeCroy) in the game tonight, and I think moving forward,” Abdur-Rahim said. “(Devin) was my friend, and obviously the University is going through something right now.”
Willock and LeCroy both died early Sunday morning after a traffic accident in Athens.

The Bulldogs are off to one of the best starts in the program in recent years. Georgia is 13-4 overall and 3-1 in league play. This is White’s first season as coach at Georgia after years as coach of the Florida Gators.
White completely rebuilt the Bulldogs’ roster with a slew of new players - including Abdur-Rahim. The University has been rocked by the passing of Willock and LeCroy. Authorities are still investigating the accident.
