Kirby Smart, Georgia Bulldogs Check in at No. 3 in CFP Rankings; Tennessee No. 1

ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs were ranked No. 3 in the first College Football Playoff Committe rankings of the year Tuesday night. 

The Bulldogs are ranked No. 1 in both the Coaches’ and AP Poll. Kirby Smart’s undefeated Bulldogs have used an explosive offense and a stout defense to get to 8-0. The Bulldogs take on Tennessee this week. The Vols were ranked No. 1 by the CFP committee Tuesday night. The game between the Vols and Dawgs will lilkey determine the winner of the SEC East. FanDuel lists Georgia as a 8.5-point favorite for this weekend’s game in Athens.
