ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs continue to roll on the recruiting trail. This time it’s defensive line coach Tray Scott who earned and new commitment, and it’s from one of the top defensive line prospects in the country in 4-star Jordan Hall‍.

A massive interior lineman at 6-foot-4 and 310-pounds, Hall has been a Georgia lean throughout the fall and took in Georgia’s game against Auburn in Sanford Stadium back on October 8th.

The Jacksonville, Florida native out of Westside High School chose the Bulldogs over Florida, Florida State, South Carolina, among others.

What are the Bulldogs getting in Hall?

They’re getting an active lineman with versatility. Hall has a lean frame and carries 310-pounds well, giving him a chance to play at multiple spots along the defensive line. He’s lighting quick off the ball and constantly finds his way into the backfield. He shows fast hands and the ability to explode into the backfield with ease. He’s a game-wrecker from the inside who can close running lanes and get after the quarterback.

As as senior last fall, Hall absolutely dominated in every way, recording 106 tackles, 31 TFLs and 9 sacks.

As a pass rusher, his length and athleticism allow him to get off blocks, but his motor and ability to close make him one of the best pass rushers in Florida from the interior. As a run defender, he closes gaps early and does a great job of sticking the running back and driving them backwards. He consistently flashes, and again, he’s only going to get better.

He looks the part physically and his senior film is outstanding. His best football is still way ahead of him which is scary to think about. He has a lot of raw tools that coaches covet, and as he develops and continues to add more muscle, Hall could be a guy who earns playing time sooner than later.

The potential is easy to see and that’s why he’s ranked in the On3 Consensus as the No. 6 DL prospect, the No. 13 prospect in Florida, and the No. 56 overall prospect in the country.

Hall gives Georgia another stout defensive line commitment, joining 4-star DT Jamaal Jarrett on the interior for the 2023 class. The two should compliment each other well in Athens when the time comes.
