Spring practices are finally here for high school programs across the country, and the Georgia staff has been on the road evaluating prospects, and updating their recruiting board.

That means new offers are being extended daily, and the staff has extended quite a few throughout this past week.

Here are a few prospects who earned an offer from Georgia this week...

Tavion Gadson - Jenkins (GA)

Maybe the biggest eye-opening offer of the week went out to an in-state defensive line prospect who is about to be the hottest 2023 prospect in Georgia. Assistant Tray Scott offered the Savannah native who stands at 6-foot-5 265-pounds. Gadson made over 60 tackles last season, nine sacks, and over 25 TFLs last year as a junior.

“It was unreal to earn an offer from Georgia”, Gadson said. “I was extremely happy. I know that they have been a good football program for a while. I also love how many defensive players they have been putting in the NFL lately.”

Tovani “Boogeyman” Mizell - Cardinal Newman (FL)

One of the top 2024 running back prospects across the South, Mizell is a dynamic weapon who is a threat to score whenever he has the ball. He has plenty of size at 6-foot-1 195-pounds, and he’s a natural runner who knows how to elude defenders. He’s a gifted athlete and one of the best in Florida in the 2024 class. As a sophomore last season, Mizell rushed for 616 yards, had 481 yards receiving, and scored 14 touchdowns.

“I was in shock after the Georgia offer!! I'm beyond blessed to be offered by the National Champs and I know they have a track record of producing NFL running backs,” Mizell told Dawg Post.

Isaiah Mozee - Lee’s Summit North (MO)

An impressive 2025 WR from Missouri, Mozee stands at 6-foot-0 165-pounds and is seeing his recruitment take off this spring. As a freshman last year, Mozee caught 28 passes for 407 yards and five touchdowns.

“It was exciting and surprising to earn an offer from Georgia”, Mozee told Dawg Post. “We know they’re the defending champs so it is a big-time program and they put players in the league. “I’ll probably plan to visit Georgia sometime this summer.”

Winston Watkins Jr - IMG Academy (FL)

One of the top 2025 prospects in the country, Watkins is a dynamic WR/DB already committed to Texas A&M. At 5-foot-10 175-pounds, Watkins Jr, cousin of former Clemson standout Sammy Watkins, plays with the same type of explosiveness with the ball in his hands. He’s a 5-star candidate in the 2025 class, and he told Dawg Post he’s “working” on planning a visit to Georgia this summer.

Williams Nwaneri - Lee’s Summit North (MO)

Another standout prospect out of Lee’s Summit North in Missouri, Nwaneri is an impressive-looking EDGE defender at 6-foot-5 250-pounds. He’s a guy who can shed blocks with ease and knows how to attack the passer once he gets into the backfield. As a sophomore last year, Nwaneri made 43 tackles and five sacks.

Aaron Butler - Calabasas (CA)

An explosive playmaker on the West Coast, Butler is one of the top overall athletes in California for the 2024 class, and he’s currently committed to play for the USC Trojans. The 6-foot-1 170-pounds is a big-play waiting to happen who can play receiver, defensive back, and even help in the return game.

Joshua “Doogie” Miller - Life Christian Academy (VA)

A strong, powerful interior lineman out of Virginia, Miller is a current Penn State commitment in the 2023 class.
