Georgia Bulldogs Travon Walker Has Message for Dawg Nation from NFL Draft

ATHENS - Former 5-star recruit and Georgia Bulldogs Travon Walker’s updated Georgia fans from the site of the 2022 NFL Draft just before the event got underway Thursday night.
Walker is expected to be drafted No. 1 overall by the Jacksonville Jags.
“What’s up Dawg Nation? It’s Travon Walker checking in with you guys,” the former Upson-Lee star said. “Please tune in at 8:00 to watch me and my brothers get drafted tonight. It really does mean a lot. You all have been there for me the whole step of the way. Go Dawgs!”
Walker is one of a slew of Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs who are set to be drafted in the first round Thursday night. The head coach is also in Las Vegas for the event.
Walker would be the 5th Georgia player all time to be selected No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft - the most recent being Super Bowl-winning QB Matthew Stafford (2009).
