Top Targets Break Down BIG Weekend In Athens

ATHENS - Kirby Smart and his staff had one final weekend this month to host prospects and try to win over some of their top targets this past weekend.
According to close sources, it was a great weekend in Athens for 2022 RB prospect Andrew Paul and many others in the 2023 and 2024 classes. Sources told Dawg Post before the weekend that the Bulldogs had an excellent chance to sign Paul on Wednesday and we’re hearing even more of that now.
The Bulldogs have +350 odds to win the 2022-23 CFP Championship according to FanDuel.
Here are some quotes from some other prospects who took a visit to Georgia this past weekend...
4-star DL Kelby Collins:
“Everything was my favorite part from the visit. What makes Georgia special is that they treat me like a major priority to them and that I have a great relationship with everyone on the staff. I was able to speak with all of the coaches, really.”
5-star DL TA Cunningham (2024):
“My favorite part of UGA was the amount of people you meet and get to get close with. I spoke to almost every coach regardless of position and you really get a family feel in Athens.”
CB Zion Ferguson (2024):
“The coaches were very hands on. They made sure that we knew every single detail and part of UGA. The staff made me feel at home and comfortable. They made sure we always had transportation to get from point A to point B. I talked to Coach Muschamp and Coach Smart. Coach Smart said he enjoyed watching me guard Travis Hunter in the Semifinals.”
