ATHENS - It appears the gang is back together again.

Three former Bulldogs from the 90s, Kirby Smart, Will Muschamp, and Mike Bobo, are all back together again in Athens. This time, they’ll be coaching as defending national champions.

Head coach Kirby Smart hired former Bulldog Will Muschamp to a defensive analyst position in February of 2021, and according to Dawgs247’s Jake Rowe, former quarterback and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo is back with the team as an offensive analyst.

Bobo played quarterback for the Bulldogs from 1993-1997 and coached QBs at Georgia from 2001-2006. He was then promoted to offensive coordinator and held that position under former head coach Mark Richt from 2007-2014.

Bobo then became the head coach at Colorado State and held that position from 2015-2019. Since then Bobo has been the offensive coordinator at South Carolina (2020) and was Auburn’s offensive coordinator for the 2021 season.

Bobo’s son, Drew Bobo, signed with Georgia during the Early Signing Day period in December.

The Bulldogs have +350 odds to win the 2022-23 CFP Championship according to FanDuel.
