ATHENS  - According to multiple reports, including DawgsHQ’s Palmer Thombs and confirmed Dawg Post, Georgia Bulldog early enrollee Bear Alexander‍ is expected to miss spring practice after having surgery to repair a torn labrum.

One of Georgia’s top signees from the 2022 class, sources say Alexander has dealt with the injury throughout the fall and needed to get the surgery done in order to prepare for fall camp down the road as a freshman.

With the Bulldogs without multiple interior defensive lineman to the NFL Draft, Alexander still remains an incoming freshman to keep an eye on during the 2022 season if he can get back to full health by the season opener.

The former four-star from IMG Academy (FL) was ranked as the No. 8 DL prospect, the No. 9 prospect in Florida, and the No. 49 overall prospect in the country for the 2022 class.

The Bulldogs have +350 odds to win the 2022-23 CFP Championship according to FanDuel.
