ATHENS - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs got some good news today as senior wideout Kearis Jackson has announced that he will be coming back to Athens for one more season.

The former Peach County standout is a big weapon and will be relied on next year with the Bulldogs losing George Pickens to the NFL and Jermaine Burton to Alabama.

Jackson will give the Bulldogs another speedy option at receiver who can also help out in the return game. The 6-foot-0 200-pounder can return both kicks and punts who can also stretch the field both on the outside or from the slot.

In 2021, Jackson caught 16 passes for 194 yards and one critical touchdown against the Gators.

So far in his career, Jackson has caught 57 passes for 787 yards and four touchdowns.

Brock Bowers was Georgia's leading receiver last season, and the Bulldogs have receivers AD Mitchell, Ladd McConkey, Dominick Blaylock, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, and other young wideouts ready to make their mark this spring.

The Bulldogs have +350 odds to win the 2022-23 CFP Championship according to FanDuel.
