NFL Provides Official List of Georgia Bulldogs Leaving Early

ATHENS - The NFL released its official list of early entrants from college into the 2022 NFL Draft. In included a slew of national champion Georgia Bulldogs.
Lewis Cine, Nakobe Dean, George Pickens, Travon Walker, John FitzPatrick and Zamir White were all allowed early entry to the NFL’s selection process. White and FitzPatrick “fulfilled their degree requirements” and were “consequently, they are eligible for selection.”
The Bulldogs went 14-1 in 2021 - knocking out No. 1 Alabama 33-18 on the way to the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship. It was the Dawgs’ first national title since 1980, and Kirby Smart’s first as a head coach.
The NFL said a total of 73 former college players were “granted special eligibility for the 2022 NFL Draft.” Another 27 underclassmen “who have fulfilled their degree requirements with college football eligibility remaining” are available to be selected. In addition, four players were permitted into the NFL Draft “without the need for special eligibility.”
