MIAMI - Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Christopher Smith said he will do everything he can to play Michigan in the Orange Bowl.

“I will do everything I can to go out there and fight with my brothers,” Smith said on Monday. “My knee has been doing pretty well. I am doin everything I can to play in this game. I am putting in a lot of work to get my knee right, and everything is going to be good.”

Smith said he wasn’t interested in categorizing how well his knee was in terms of a percentage.

“I don't want to talk about what percentage my knee is at,” he said.

Against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game Smith appeared slowed by the knee injury, which limited him at the end of the season. The Tide beat Georgia by 17 points - pushing their way into the playoffs once more.

Smith said that the Dawgs have turned their attention to Michigan.

“We are focused on getting a win,” Smith said.

The Bulldogs are listed as a 7.5-point favorite over Michigan by FanDuel.
