Orange Bowl Announces a Sellout with Georgia Bulldogs and Michigan Wolverines

Miami Lakes, Fla – Tickets are officially sold out for the 2021 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl featuring No. 3 Georgia and No. 2 Michigan on December 31 at Hard Rock Stadium. The game, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, will feature two of the top five defenses in the country as Georgia and Michigan face off for the first time since 1965.

´╗┐The Bulldogs will be making their fourth appearance in a game hosted by Orange Bowl and their first since 1960 when they defeated Missouri 14-0 with the help of quarterback Fran Tarkenton. The Wolverines will also be playing in their fourth game hosted by Orange Bowl and their first since a 32-33 loss to Florida State in a down-to-the-wire thriller in 2016. Michigan’s last Orange Bowl victory came in 2000 when quarterback Tom Brady led the Wolverines to a 35-34 overtime win over Alabama.
