Miami Lakes, Fla – Tickets are officially sold out for the 2021 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl featuring No. 3 Georgia and No. 2 Michigan on December 31 at Hard Rock Stadium. The game, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, will feature two of the top five defenses in the country as Georgia and Michigan face off for the first time since 1965.
The Bulldogs will be making their fourth appearance in a game hosted by Orange Bowl and their first since 1960 when they defeated Missouri 14-0 with the help of quarterback Fran Tarkenton. The Wolverines will also be playing in their fourth game hosted by Orange Bowl and their first since a 32-33 loss to Florida State in a down-to-the-wire thriller in 2016. Michigan’s last Orange Bowl victory came in 2000 when quarterback Tom Brady led the Wolverines to a 35-34 overtime win over Alabama.
