BUCKHEAD - Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are the hottest team in the country on the recruiting trail right now, picking up four major commitments in the 2022 class in the last two weeks.

One of them was 5-star DE Mykel Williams‍, and the Bulldogs are also recruiting his good friend, 4-star DL Christen Miller‍ out of Cedar Grove (GA).

Dawg Post went to watch Cedar Grove play on Friday night, and honestly, the player we meant to watch the most was 2022 EDGE commitment Carlton Madden‍. While Madden looked perfectly fine and made multiple tackles on the night, it was defensive tackle Christen Miller‍ who stole the show.

The 6-foot-4 285-pounder dominated on Friday night, terrorizing the Westminster offensive line throughout the contest. Miller manhandled his opponents at defensive tackle, and then turned around and did the same thing at offensive tackle. He was just too big, quick, and powerful for Westminster to handle. The 4-star made play after play, getting after the QB and blowing up the run game. His quickness off the ball was impressive for someone his size, and his leadership qualities shined through as well. It was easy to see why teams like Georgia, Ohio State, Southern Cal, and many more are pushing hard for the All-American at this time.

As far as his recruitment goes, if you pay attention to Miller’s tweets and other posts on social media, the Atlanta native expects to play alongside Williams at the next level. The two have become good friends throughout the recruiting process and have stated multiple times that they would like to play together at the next level.

The Bulldogs have been hot and cold with Miller over the last 12 or so months, but right now, Dawg Post feels that Miller is a take for the Georgia staff, who already have four other defensive linemen on the commit list. Miller has been to Athens often, and took in Georgia's game against South Carolina earlier this season.

Right now, Dawg Post believes the Georgia Bulldogs are in the best position to land Miller, who plans to announce his commitment this winter during the All-American game. Dawg Post ranks Miller as the No. 11 prospect in Georgia for the 2022 class.
