ATHENS - The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs‘ game with the No. 16 Kentucky Wildcats game on October 16, 2021 in Sanford Stadium will be broadcast by CBS at 3:30 PM, the network annouced Monday.
The selection means the Bulldogs’ matchip with the Cats was the No. 1 selection of the weekend for the SEC. Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and reporter Jamie Erdahl will be on the call from Sanford Stadium in Athens.
CBS’s pick means the Bulldogs will play on the network three games in a row - at Auburn, vs. Kentucky and in Jacksonville vs. the Gators. The Bulldogs are one of the biggest draws in college football. Georgia’s week-one win over Clemson still stands as the most-watched college football game of the year.
The first game (Noon, ET) of the doubleheader will be announced at a later date and will either be No. 18 Auburn at No. 13 Arkansas or No. 20 Florida at LSU. Noah Eagle, analysts Aaron Murray and Rick Neuheisel, along with reporter Jenny Dell will call the action.
The doubleheader will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network and available to stream on Paramount+.
