Multiple TOP Prospects Visit UGA On Saturday

As we wrote earlier this week, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs hosted some of their top commitments and targets today, the final day prospects can make visits until September.
5-star DB Kamari Wilson was in town and this is a BIG DEAL. Getting him back on campus before the season starts is exactly what the staff was hoping for. Dawg Post feels Georgia is the team to beat behind the scenes, and after taking a bunch of visits in June, getting Wilson back on campus should give the Bulldogs some momentum in his recruitment.
Another important visitor this weekend was BIG TIME 4-star OL Earnest Greene of St. John Bosco (CA). He’s one of the nation's best in the 2022 class and for him to make a cross-country visit to Athens this weekend says a lot about where the Bulldogs stand in his recruitment. If the Bulldogs can land an official visit this fall they should have every opportunity to sign him in December.
2022 LB target Carlton Madden Jr. is also in town today. He earned an offer from Tennessee on his visit yesterday. Dawg Post will watch him on Friday night when they scrimmage Buford. He plans to announce his “top group” next week and Dawg Post feels the Bulldogs will be atop his list.
One of the top 2024 prospects in the state, Grayson (GA) offensive lineman Waltclaire Flynn JR., took a visit to Athens today and left with an offer. He’s a big, interior lineman who started for the 7A state-champion Grayson Rams last year as a freshman. He’ll be a prospect to keep a close eye on for the next few years.
2023 OL Madden Sanker was in town today as well. The tough, nasty South Paulding lineman already holds a Bulldog offer. He’s a state-champion wrestler and will be one of the highest-ranked interior line prospects in Georgia for his class.
