Responding to This Loss Will be a New Experience For Kirby Smart

ATHENS—Kirby Smart has dealt with his fair share of losses at Georgia—14 to be exact. None of them have ever been like this, though.

This loss certainly isn’t the most heartbreaking, you could pick several others before you’d get to this one. It is, however, maybe the toughest one to swallow. 

When they lost the National Championship in the 2017 season, that was it. Alabama was the National Champion, Georgia was not.
