ATHENS - No. 12 Georgia will enter this week’s trip to Missouri as a 12-point favorite.
The Bulldogs were opened as a nine-point favorite before betters immediately moved the number up to 12. That gives the Bulldogs about an 82% chance to win the game.
Georgia has entered the stretch run of the 2020 season. The Bulldogs can still win the SEC East, but will have to win out and have high-flying Florida lose twice. That seems unlikely. The Gators are a 17-point favorite to beat Arkansas at home this weekend.
Georgia has not lost in Columbia since the Tigers entered the SEC. In 2012, Jarvis Jones and the Bulldogs’ defense made their presence known in a night-time win. 2014 saw the explosion of Nick Chubb on the scene as the Bulldogs ran past ranked Missouri. 2016 was a back-and-forth affair that ended with Jacob Eason’s game-winning throw to Isaiah McKenzie on fourth down. In 2018 the Bulldogs beat Missouri by two touchdowns.
