ATHENS - No. 5 Georgia will enter this week’s top-ten fight with the No. 8 Gators as a modest favorite. 

The Bulldogs were listed as a five-point favorite before betters nudged that number up one to six. That gives the Bulldogs a 66% chance to win the game. 

In 2018, No. 7 UGA was a seven-point favorite before beating the No. 9 Gators 36-17. Last year, No. 8 UGA was a 6.5-point favorite before beating the No. 5 Gators 24-17.

In all top-ten matchups between the two schools, UGA owns a 4-3 record against the Gators.

The favorite in this series has won each of game this decade when the spread has been ten points or fewer. 

The Bulldogs have beaten a top-ten Florida team 11 times in history.
