REPORT: UGA Player Leaves Team

ATHENS - One member of Georgia's 2020 recruiting class is reportedly at home. 

Georgia freshman defensive back Daran Branch‍ has left the team according to multiple reports. Dawg Nation reported Branch has not been working with the team. 247 reported that Branch has returned to his home in Louisiana - citing sources. 

UGA did not respond to Dawg Post's attempt to confirm the reporting. The Athens Banner-Herald is reporting that Branch's high school coach, Zephaniah Powell, was unaware of Branch's situation. 

"Branch had not told him about departing Georgia and he had not heard from Bulldog coaches," the Banner-Herald reported.
