ATHENS - Georgia’s game with Virginia is in jeopardy.

The ACC, of which Virginia is a member, said Wednesday that member schools agreed to adhere to a specific list of guidelines. The one that would put the UGA-UVA game in jeopardy is the following:

“All non-conference game opponents, selected by the respective school, must be played in the home state of the ACC institution, and all non-conference opponents must meet the medical protocol requirements as agreed upon by the ACC.”

That means Georgia would have to travel to Virginia to play the contest - and that’s if Virginia “selected that game.”
