The Georgia Bulldogs got some big news from the NCAA today as it relates to new transfer QB J.T Daniels.
The NCAA ruled today that the USC transfer will be immediately eligible to play football this fall for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs added Wake Forest quarterback transfer Jamie Newman at the beginning of the year, and then they reeled in Daniels away from Tennessee and others later this spring.
Daniels started for the Trojans as a true freshman in 2018, going 216/363 for 2672 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was injured in the 2019 season opener and had to sit out the remainder of the season.
Daniels decided to transfer to Georgia, and now that he’s immediately eligible, he’ll have a chance to win the starting job if he can stay healthy.
