Elite Georgia Showcase: Top Performers
It was a great camp that Derrick Tatum and Elite Talent put on earlier this month.
The camp had speakers including Tim Bowens (head coach of Clarke Atlanta), Gabe Guardina (head coach of Albany State), Darren Waller TE of Oakland Raiders, and former Georgia Tech/Pittsburgh Steeler Jonathan Dwyer.
The camp also had speakers including 2020 Alabama signee Javon Baker, 2021 QB Carlos Del Rio, 2022 QB MJ Morris, 2021 ATH Chief Borders, 3-star DB Taco Wright, and 2024 QB Bryce Clayvon.
Past stars that competed in the Elite Georgia Showcase include QB Trevor Lawrence (Clemson), DL Derrick Brown (Auburn), DB Jojuan Willams (New England Patriots), CB Trayvon Mullen (Oakland Raiders), Super Bowl champion WR Mecole Hardman (Kansas City Chiefs), OT Andrew Thomas (Georgia), OL Jamaree Salyer (Georgia), LB Owen Pappoe (Auburn), DB Trey Dean (Florida), CB Jamyest Williams (Georgia State), and Duke Shelley of the Chicago Bears.
From the camp earlier this month...
Overall MVP - Lyndon Cooper - 2021 OL out of Carrollton (GA). He had a great day and did not lose a rep. Played with great technique. Overall the offensive line was by far the strongest group out there.
Matthew Johnson -2020 lineman from Oliver Springs (TN)
Nelson Kinney - 2021lineman out of Ola (GA) -Strong with good size.
Christian Anderson - 2021 prospect from Rockdale (GA). 6-foot-5 and had long arms with great tehcnique.
Andrew Cornelius - The 2021 lineman out of Heard County (GA).
Quarterbacks:
Jacob Foss - 2021 QB from Huntsville AL. Offensive MVP. Great leader who was solid all day.
Davis Dallas - 2022 QB from Trinity Christian School (GA). QB MVP. Dual-threat with a rocket arm.
Neyland Jean - 2021 QB from Baylor (TN) -Big, strong looking kid who had a strong day. Very accurate kid who has a chance to blow up this off-season.
Christain Burks - 2021 QB from Langston Hughes (GA). Solid Day overall.
DL MVP: Lamone Hill, a 2023 DL out of Duchtown (GA). Showed great quickness. Undersized, but will get bigger as he’s just a freshman.
Kristian Zachery Co-MVP 2021 LB out of Carrollton had a great day.
Julius Nichols - 2022 prospect out of Carver (AL)
Deandre Rivers - 2021 DL out of Mt Zion (GA). Big kid who had a solid day.
Alexis Ibenenez - 2023 prospect.
Linebacker MVP- Renardo Smith JR (2021)- Had the best day overall. Played with great technique and covered well.
Zahir Jackson 2021 LB from North Springs High (GA). Physical with great size.
Caleb Grant - 2021 LB from Parkview (GA)
Brian Day 2021 LB from Parkview (GA). Covered really well. Could have won MVP but was edged out barely. He had the best technique of all the linebackers.
Christian Hanson - Physical 2022 LB from Trinity Christian (GA).
Nace Washington - 2021 LB out of Brock (TX). Played well and has good size.
WR MVP was J’Kobe Bullock, a 2021 wideout from Texas. The 6’3 prospect had a “monster” day and showed excellent hands to go along with his smooth route running.
Zach Johansen- A promosing young 2022 WR out of North Gwinnett (GA). Won most of his matchups during the day.
Bryce Herring -2022 WR out of Allatoona (GA). Good day overall.
Bryce Wilcox - 2022 WR from Trinity Christian (GA). Smooth in and out of breaks. Caught everything thrown his way.
Camron Mckinney Carver (AL) product. Raw but has potential. Ran good routes.
Joshua Dallas - 2022 WR from Trinity Christian (GA).
Chase Byrd - 8th grader from South Carolina.
Overall Defensive MVP was 2022 ATH Jaden Harris of North Springs (GA). He played punter and linebacker last year. He’s a promising young safety and could turn into one of the state’s best down the road. The former basketball player should gather Power 5 attention sooner than later.

Chase Usher - 2021 prospect out of River Ridge High (GA).
Avery Thomas - 2022 DB from Wetumpka (AL). Smooth with good size. Great coverage.
Justin Hubbard- 2021 kid out of South Gwinnett (GA). Played with good technique and a has a very strong frame.
Solomon Locke - 2022 prospect with good frame and speed.
Aaron Gates - 2023 ATH out of Trinity Christian (GA)- Very Raw but has Power 5 potential. Great athlete, just needs to work on his technique.
Brian Day - 2022 DB from Parkview (GA). Played with good technique and should be a solid player in the future.

MVP Zachary Bolden-2022 Blessed Trinity: Caught the ball well and moved good in space.
Dominick Nichols 2022 RB from Colorado.
Jordan Bean Speedy 2023 RB out of Benidictine (GA).
Robert Edwards- 2022 RB out of Columbus (GA). Caught the ball well.
Top middle school performers:
Bryce Clavon (2024) - Can play QB, WR, or DB.
Julian Lewis (2026) - A kid who has already been coming to camp for years. Promising young QB.
Antonio Cromartie Jr (2025) -Son of former NFL cornerback Antonio Cromartie.
