BREAKING: 3-star Lineman Cameron Kinnie Commits To Georgia
The Bulldogs have added another peice to the 2020 class today with the signing of three-star defensive lineman, Cameron Kinnie, of Collins Hill (GA).
The big 6-foot-3 305-pounder signed with the Bulldogs over Iowa State, Syracuse, Temple, among others.
Kinnie was offered by Georgia back on January 20 and never looked back. Tight ends coach Todd Hartley was the key recruiter of Kinnie who now becomes Georgia’s seventh offensive line commitment in the class.

“It (UGA) is close to home and it’s a great mix of good football and good education,” Kinnie told Dawg Post. “The ties you get from being a Bulldog are unreal and they’re never satisfied. They are constantly trying to improve. When I went down there it felt like home and it was very family oriented, and I am a family guy. One of the reasons I chose Georgia was because of the mixture of great football and a great education and the ties that you get when you graduate.”
Kinnie plays on both sides of the ball for Collins Hill, but the 6-foot-3 305-pounder will be asked to play offensive line in Athens once he arrives.
“They’re recruited me to play on the interior offensive line,” Kinnie told Dawg Post. “Coach Smart and Coach Hartley were the guys that really recruitied me. The thing I like about coach Luke is he was a family guy and he preached that hard work is what will determine if you play.”
So what will Kinnie bring to Athens?
Versatility and leadership.
He’s got good size, he shows active hands, and he is has a strong lower body. He plays until the whistle and does a nice job of blocking linebackers at the second level. He displays good balance in pass protection and showed he can overpower defenders in the run game this past fall. Kinnie is a hard worker with a high football IQ. He knows what his job is and knows how to get the job done. He’s not the flashiest offensive lineman, but he’s a big, strong kid who is coming off a very impressive senior season on both sides of the ball.
