UGA Adds Late Commitment to 2020 Class
ATHENS - Georgia added a late addition to their 2020 class on Sunday.
North Murray WR Ladd McConkey picked the Bulldogs over Tennessee a week after visiting the Vols. The commitment gives the Bulldogs 23 commitments in this recruiting cycle. McConkey will be a slot receiver and kickoff return man for the Bulldogs in the future according to Dawg Post’s Matt DeBary.
“When you watch him you see that he does give UGA value as a receiver in the slot,” DeBary said. “UGA picking him up was a result of them wanting to maximize all of the spots they have going into the fall.”
McConkey is considered a three-star prospect. He joins a talented group of receivers who will play for UGA this fall. Jermaine Burton, Arian Smith, Marcus Rosemy and Justin Robinson all signed with the Bulldogs in December.
