Elite Talent Football Tour News and Notes
Summer is here, and in the recruiting world, that's always good news. Schools across the country will hold camps and combines to try and find more talent in the 2019 class and beyond. This is a time where under the radar prospects can really impress and earn some major offers.
Elite Talent Football Academy is home to some of Georgia's best prospects ans they will be on a bus tour to visit Tennessee, Kentucky, Bowling Green, and Michigan.
Some of the prospects participating include:
Jalen Huff, 2020 DB, Buford: Huff has had an impressive spring, picking up offers from Tennessee, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Louisville, Kentucky, among others. The 6-foot-1170-pounder is one of the best 2020 cornerbacks in the South and is only getting better.
Jamal Hill, 2019 S, Morrow: Hill is an under the radar guy and one of the most underrated players in Georgia. He's got good size at 6-foot-2 190-pounds and has impressed in the camp circuit. He's a tough kid with good cover skills. Look for his recruitment to possibly pick up this summer. Hill currently holds offers from Pittsburgh, Memphis, Western Michigan, among others.
Dequanteous Watts, 2019 CB, Maynard Jackson: Watts is one of the hottest recruits in Georgis right now with recent offers from Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Virginia, West Virginia, Ole Miss, and Pittsburgh. Each offer came in May and more could come in shortly for the 6-foot-2 165-pounder.
Corry Thomas, 2019 CB, Westlake : The Michigan native might be the best one in the group even with only 3 offers. He's got great technique and is a true cover corner. Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, and Toledo have all offered.
Joel Girtman, 2019 CB, Westlake: Girtman was very good at the Junior Elite Classic game and is a prospect to know. He should have a big senior season this upcoming fall.
De'Nylon Morrissette, 2022 WR: This is a guy you will be hearing alot about the next few years. The FBU National Champion receiver is in the 2022 class but already has great size and athleticism with his 6-foot-2 frame. Morrissette will no doubt be a major recruit sooner then later.
Other players on the tour include:
2019 S Edwin Summerour (Clarke Central): Holds offers from Arkansas State, Alabama State and Albany State.
2019 DB Uriah Mellem (Milton)
