WATCH: 4-star Commit Justin Robinson Lays the Wood
There aren’t many receivers across the country like Georgia commitment, Justin Robinson.
The 4-star stands out immediately with his 6-foot-4 200-pound frame, but it’s his athleticism that got the attention of college staffs across the country.
He’s been dealing with injuries during his junior season and earlier this year, but the Eagles Landing Christian (GA) star is finally back at full health for his senior season.
Robinson committed to Georgia as a receiver, but it’s easy to see why other major programs, including Notre Dame, recruited the McDonough native to play defensive back.
Robinson posted some highlights via Twitter showing his ability to lay the lumber on defense. Robinson is a physical receiver, and he’s played with some aggression at safety this fall. Knowing he’ll play receiver in Athens, Robinson is making sure he takes advantage of every defensive snap from here on out.
The 4-star chose the Bulldogs over the Fighting Irish and others on March 2nd and has attended multiple Georgia games this fall. Robinson even admitted to Dawg Post that he has a score prediction for the upcoming game against the Gators.
“I think UGA’s defense will hold Florid,” Robinson said. “I’m going with UGA 24- FLA 10.”
According to Dawg Post, Robinson is the No.24 player in the state of Georgia for the 2020 class. He’s the No.59 WR prospect in the country in the 2020 class.
