Dawgs in the NFL: Nick Chubb Goes Off

Browns 40, Ravens 25
Nick Chubb, RB: Chubb rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries for the Browns. He also caught three passes for 18 yards. Chubb is ranked third in the league with four rushing touchdowns and fourth with 398 yards rushing.
His 88-yard touchdown run is the longest rush and the second-longest play in the NFL this season. According to Next Gen Stats, Chubb reached a top speed of 21.95 miles per hour on the run, eclipsing the fastest time in the NFL this year previously held by another Bulldog, Mecole Hardman of the Chiefs (21.74 MPH), on an 83-yard touchdown. By comparison, Chubb’s top speed at Georgia was 22.9 MPH during the Rose Bowl.
In addition, Chubb became third player in NFL history with at least two touchdown runs of 85 yards or more in their first two seasons. Chubb, who had a 92-yarder last season, joined Bob Hoernschemeyer (1946-47) and Chris Johnson 2008-09) on the list.

David Andrews, C: Andrews is on the Patriots' injured reserve list for the season.
Sony Michel, RB: Michel carried 17 times for 63 yards for New England.
Ben Watson, TE: Watson missed the Patriots' first four games due to suspension. He is eligible to return on Sunday at Washington.
Isaiah Wynn, OL: Wynn is on New England’s injured reserve list with a toe injury. He will be eligible to return Nov. 17.
Isaiah McKenzie, WR: McKenzie left the game after just one play as he re-aggravated an ankle injury for the Bills.
 
Titans 24, Falcons 10
Ben Jones, OL: Jones logged all 64 offensive snaps at center and helped the Titans accumulate 365 total yards. Jones and his linemates did not allow a sack.
D'Andre Walker, LB: Walker is on Tennessee’s injured reserve list for the season.
 
Chiefs 34, Lions 30
Mecole Hardman, WR: The Kansas City rookie had two catches for nine yards and returned a kickoff 29 yards. Among NFL rookies, Hardman ranks first in punt return average (20.0), second in receiving touchdowns (two), third in yards per catch (20.9) and kickoff return average (23.0), and seventh in receiving yards (167). He also owns the longest play this season, 83 yards, by a rookie.
Matthew Stafford, QB: Stafford went 21-of-34 for 291 yards and three touchdowns for the Lions. He also ran two times for 18 yards. Stafford stands fourth in the NFL in passing touchdowns (nine), eighth in total yards per game (280.5), and 10th in passing yards (1,122).
John Atkins, DL: Atkins is a member of the Lions' practice squad.
Isaac Nauta, TE: Nauta is on Detroit's practice squad.
 
Giants 24, Redskins 3
Deandre Baker, DB: The New York rookie had two tackles.
Lorenzo Carter, LB: Carter posted two tackles for the Giants before leaving the game with a neck injury.
Alec Ogletree, LB: Ogletree was inactive for New York due to a hamstring injury.
 
Chargers 30, Dolphins 10
Thomas Davis, LB: Davis had four tackles, including half a sack, for San Diego. He stands seventh in the NFL with 38 tackles.
John Jenkins, DL: Jenkins logged 13 defensive snaps and seven special teams plays for the Dolphins, but he did not record any stats.
Reshad Jones, DB: Jones paced the Dolphins with nine tackles and he defended one pass.
Jonathan Ledbetter, DL: The Miami rookie is on injured reserve with an ankle injury. He will be eligible to return Nov. 17.
 
Raiders 31, Colts 24
Justin Houston, DE: Houston had one tackle and recovered a fumble for the Colts. He stands ninth in the NFL with the fumble recovery.
 
Bears 16, Vikings 6
Leonard Floyd, LB: Floyd was on the field for 53 of the Bears’ 62 defensive plays, but he did not have any stats.
Riley Ridley, WR: The Chicago rookie was active for the first time in his NFL career, but he did not see any action.
Roquan Smith, LB: Smith was on the Bears’ inactive list due to personal reasons.
Javon Wims, WR: Wims hauled in four passes for 56 yards, including a 37-yarder. He was on the field for 68 of the Bears’ 72 offensive snaps.
 
Jaguars 26, Broncos 24
Chris Conley, WR: Conley caught just one pass, but his 17-yard reception with a minute remaining help set up the Jaguars’ game-winning field goal.
Abry Jones, DL: Jones saw action on 24 defensive plays and 13 special teams snaps for Jacksonville, but he did not record any stats.
Terry Godwin, WR: Godwin is a member of the Jaguars’ practice squad.
 
Buccaneers 55, Rams 40
Todd Gurley, RB: Gurley made the most of his five carries (for 16 yards) as he scored two touchdowns for the Rams. Gurley stands seventh in the NFL with three rushing touchdowns. Gurley also caught seven passes for 54 yards. Los Angeles became the first team in NFL history with 65 or more passes and fewer than 12 rushes (68 and 11) in a game.
Natrez Patrick, LB: The Rams rookie logged 20 special teams snaps but did not have any stats.
 
Steelers 27, Bengals 3
Geno Atkins, DL: Atkins had two tackles for the Bengals.
Davin Bellamy, DE: Bellamy was added to the Bengals’ practice squad on Sept. 27.
Cordy Glenn, OL: Glenn was on Cincinnati's inactive list as he remains in concussion protocol.
A.J. Green, WR: Green was on the Bengals' inactive list due to an ankle injury.
Shawn Williams, DB: Williams had nine tackles for Cincinnati.
 
Seahawks 27, Cardinals 10
Lamont Gaillard, OL: The Cardinals rookie remained on the Cardinals’ inactive list due to a knee injury.
