Two More UGA Players Arrested on Misdemeanor Charges

ATHENS - Two more UGA players were arrested on Tuesday, this time on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana.

Sophomore linebackers Brent Cox and Robert Beal were arrested Tuesday afternoon and bailed out soon thereafter. Both were arrested by the UGA police department and booked in Athens Clarke-County jail on charges of possessing less than an ounce of marijuana.
UGA coach Kirby Smart said of the arrests: ”I’ve obviously done a poor job with this group of connecting. You can't break the rules. You can't break the law."
