ATHENS - So it’s been a few days since UGA Football’s championship three-peat hopes were dashed by Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

UGA Football fans should be used to this by now. Saturday’s 31-23 victory over hated Georgia Tech was a ho-hum sort of affair that led many to believe that Tech was closing the gap on the two-time reigning champs. Nothing could be further from the truth.

ATHENS - The second half of the UGA Football season continues to prove one point: Georgia football, like death and taxes, is inevitable.

ATHENS -With only two regular season games remaining, along with conference championship contests, the playoff picture is anything but clear. While several contenders have turned into pretenders in the past three weeks, the permutations of who can make it into the top 4 remains jumbled.

ATHENS - After a much-needed bye week, UGA Football launches headlong into the season’s final five games, starting this weekend with its annual grudge match against the Florida Gators.

ATHENS - If one only looked at the final score, you could be convinced that UGA Football’s 37-20 win over Vanderbilt was way more competitive than it really was.
