A win is a win, especially for a team with so many injuries and new players. I liked how we kept the lead the entire game, but we played a little too fast at times.

This definitely can be a long year. Second game and we are down to 8 players and coach Abe didn't play the Davis Twins only a couple of minutes. Mia Woolfolk is out and I assume it is knee injuries. Haven't seen Savannah at a game yet. Nyah and Fatima are dressing but not playing. They could be anywhere from a week or a couple of months. Amiya Evans has improved quite a bit, Miyah Verse is the best athlete on the team. Trinity Turner is going to be a very good point guard. I just hate we have to wait another year on the forwards we just recruited.

Avinger needs to shoot more, and Evans has played big for us with two double doubles in a row.

Woolfolk was on the bench in a boot. During Coach Abe's press conference, she was asked about Mia.

Q- Any details you can share on Mia? I saw her in a boot on the bench.
Abe - yeah, no. It's just day by day.

If this team gets healthier, I could see it making some noise this year. Our defense looks way more aggressive this year.
