Another name I'll throw in the ringer. This one comes from a friend of mine who is an "insider", I use that word lightly as who isn't nowadays lol, but anyways.

Pjay Smith Jr., PG from Furman. The 6'0 Senior entered the transfer portal after averaging 18/4/4 on pretty good efficiency this last season. Played 2 years at a D2 before the last 2 at Furman, so to be blunt I am not sure where he is getting this fifth year of eligibility from, but who knows anymore in this landscape.

Would be a good pickup and the PG we need for next season to round out the roster.

I see. He is banking on getting an extra year of eligibility as apart of a big lawsuit following the ruling that granted Juco players extra eligibility. Him and countless other athletes are doing the same thing but for a D2 ruling on eligibility, curious to see if it gets passed but I doubt it. Big difference between D2 and Juco.

we have done these kinds of things before and nothing comes out of it

Well it doesn't really seem like its going to matter lol we gave up recruiting him after the coaching staff realized there was no way he was going to get granted another year of eligibility lol idk what you want me to say on that it was out of our hands
