He is a dawg. I'm pretty confident in it, and I am normally very pessimistic or reserved when it comes to my teams. I've seen a few crystal balls on him coming here, which reassure my confidence, but I have also read up on Penn State being the biggest competition, with VT putting up some fight, but ultimately no chance for Wake Forest. I am pretty excited about the idea of him finishing out this 2025 class which is shaping up very nicely. As long as CMW closed recruiting strong I think we have this one in the bag from what I have heard. I'll know 100% by tomorrow probably so I'll get back to this.

Man, I hope you're right. I love a NY PG. Those dudes are tough. They just play the game a different way. They grow up on the playground, take the ball to the hoop with no fear, handle the ball really well, play defense and pass the ball. You gotta like the way this class is shaping up. 2 centers/posts, 1 combo forward and now a possible PG. I would love to see a SG and/or a true scoring SF in the class. Lawrence graduates, as does Leffew and Abson, and Newell will likely leave for the draft. Since Key is redshirting, I guess he could count as a SG in the class. I like what I've seen from him; he hustles his ass off. Technically, we could count him. So, maybe a SF who can score.

I am in the same boat with you Monk in regards to NY PG's. When Sundiata Gaines was here, night in and night out he was just the toughest kid on the floor in my opinion. Sundiata did everything for the Dawgs. I think I would venture a little further and say that toughness applies to NY kids in general. I love the way NY kids play. They are fearless. This would be a great get.
