Former UGA assistant and current HC at USF Amir Abdur-Rahim passed away from complications of surgery.... Only 43 and entering his 2nd year at USF. He was tremendously successful at Kennesaw State after he left UGA and had done very well in his 1st year at USF. He was headed for another great season if preseason predictions were correct.

UGA also had a moment of silence before the UCF exhibition. Classy thing to do. Amir was well liked by everyone.
