UGA to Face Six SEC Foes After Off-Weeks

ATHENS - Teams in the SEC are taking full advantage of off weeks - and Georgia will have to get ready for that. 

Six of Georgia’s eight SEC games in 2019 will come against foes who did not play a game the week before. That’s double what any other SEC team will have to deal with in terms of playing a foe after an off week. 

Tennessee, South Carolina, Missouri, Florida and Auburn will all have the week off before facing Georgia. Vanderbilt sees the Bulldogs in the season opener. The move by either the SEC schools, or the league itself is another indication that the Bulldogs have ascended to the top of the league. Typically teams take the week off before their most difficult games of the year.
