After hosting commitments and targets from multiple classes all last week, Kirby Smart and his staff extended multiple offers after working out prospects at camps and seeing them in person. Many of them were in-state prospects that Bulldog fans need to keep a close eye on.

Here are a few peach-state prospects who earned an offer from the Bulldogs this weekend.

Cole Speer - WR - 2022 - Calhoun

One of the biggest playmakers in all of North Georgia, the playmaking wide-out from Calhoun (GA) earned a big off from Georgia this weekend and this recruitment could be over sooner than later. The 6-foot-0 180-pounder is a speedster who ran well throughout the camp circuit this off-season. Speer was a 5A 1st Team All-State selection last year after catching 59 passes for 1,151 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. He’s a natural route runner with great hands who dominated last fall as a junior. The Bulldogs hosted some of their top WR targets over the weekend and still felt comfortable offering Speer before he left. He’ll be a prospect to keep an eye on moving forward.

Waltclaire Flynn Jr. - OL - 2024 - Grayson

One of the top young prospects across the state, Flynn Jr. is an interior offensive lineman who earned his “dream” offer from Georgia this weekend during his visit. The 6-foot-2 280-pounder started for the Grayson Rams last year as a freshman and helped lead the Rams to a 7A state championship. He’s a mean, nasty lineman who more than held his own against some of the top defenses in the state last year. He’s expected to be one of the highest-ranked 2024 OL prospects in the state.

Zechariah Owens - OL - 2023 - Eagles Landing Christian

Before the weekend got started, Matt Luke hosted 2023 OL Zechariah Owens and the massive 6-foot07 345-pounder left Athens with an offer. The mammoth tackle is a big, powerful lineman who finds a way to bully his opponent into the ground. He’s got plenty of mass, but he’s also long, giving him an advantage on the outside. He needs to transform his body a little over the next few years, but his size and strength can't be ignored. There are plenty of 2023 OL prospects emerging across the state, and Owens is certainly one of them. He now holds offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan State and UCF.
