Definitely need to monitor the Fields situation. If he becomes immediately eligible for feeling unsafe at UGA, then any white player looking to transfer can make the same argument now.

A lot of similar quotes from other students who've had him online. He's apparently a raging racist.
How can the University boot Sasser from the baseball team (essentially ruining his baseball career) for a racial slur he made while drunk while this guy who condones racial violence gets nothing (and is even protected)?
Which post do you consider to be a dumb comment? All I see is several folks with enough common sense and decency about them to speak out on an outrageous comment by a TA who happens to be black. His statement is the only outrageous comment I see in this thread.Jerrodjones said:

What's wrong with the statement? It's absolutely true. If that happened, the statement would have more than likely made a national platform by now. It's a horrible double standard.

If the TA had been white and said the same thing in regards to blacks, it would be a major story on CNN and MSNBC as well as the network news outlets. I'd wager there would be protests and violent riots in the streets of Athens.
Racism isn't a one way street and it is wrong. I'd wager all of those who spoke out on the comments from the black TA would be among the first in line to do so had he been white and directed similar comments towards blacks.
The fact this guy still has a job is a disgrace and makes me ashamed of the administration of UGA.
Curious as to his course of study and what he teaches?
Racism technically is a one way street... it's the oppression of a majority over a minority.
